Oskar Schindler was not a perfect person. He joined the Nazi Party largely for personal gain and lived a life focused on business and opportunity rather than moral leadership.
However, when Nazi policies turned toward mass murder, Schindler made a dramatic choice. Using his connections and resources, he bribed officials, falsified documents, and spent his entire fortune to protect more than 1,000 Jewish men and women. His actions show how individuals can change and choose courage, even in the darkest times.
