Over the last couple of months, I’ve given a number of presentations to high school and college students about the question we seem to keep hearing about in the news: Is Israel an apartheid state?

The prevailing response I get from the pro-Israel students I meet with who are looking for guidance here is, ”I have no idea what apartheid is, but I know I am supposed to say no to that question.”
