Israel is a tiny country that contains amazing geographic and cultural diversity. From Mediterranean beaches and mystical hilltop cities to ski slopes and desert landscapes, each region offers distinct experiences and a variety of lifestyles.
Throughout the country, people of different faiths speak different languages and live side by side, with synagogues, churches, and mosques on neighboring streets. Despite lacking natural resources, Israel became known as the "Start-up Nation" through creativity and innovation.
Israel harmonizes seeming contradictions—ancient and modern, religious and secular, East and West, diverse communities and shared identity—creating something special and beautiful that exists nowhere else in the world.
