Yom HaAtzmaut Poster Project (45 minutes)

Lesson Goals

  • Affective – Students will reflect on how different leaders were motivated by different values and visions for the Jewish state.
  • Behavioral – Students will collaborate to create a poster and teach others about a leader’s approach to Zionism using evidence from videos and primary sources.
  • Cognitive – Students will understand that Zionism was shaped by diverse perspectives and leadership.
