Big Jewish Ideas

Understanding Judaism doesn’t need to take hours; it just needs a firm foundation.

The “Big Jewish Ideas” series co-produced with the Z3 Project shines a light on seven of the most important issues facing Jews currently. Each video strips down and examines some of the fundamental issues that define Judaism, like community, culture, rituals and identity.

Blending insight and observation, each episode raises crucial questions about what it means to be Jewish in today’s world. They also challenge anyone who’s curious to think deeply about the subjects that matter most, such as defining who is a Jew, how Israeli culture is changing the definition of Jewish culture, why the concept of tikkun olam has become so popular and why Shabbat traditions have become the hallmark of Jewish practice.
